I tried a different working method than I’ve used before. I started by laying down values very loosely in marker before coming in with a detail pen. I think a better way is to do a preliminary sketch that takes advantage of the paper’s translucence and then go over that with the values. I’m not terribly upset with it, considering it only took 45 minutes.
